CDH and Delnor were two of the midwest’s largest health systems. When they merged, the Honey team was enlisted to help name and brand the new entity, then apply the new brand design in a comprehensive ecosystem serving patients, physicians, and administrators. Research revealed that a new identity conveying “synchrony” and “well-choreographed care” would be most resonant, and ultimately Cadence Health was born. The new logo is meant to suggest parallel paths of patient care, medical research, and operational excellence working in harmony. A brand guide was created to steward the new design system, and a full-featured website with appointment scheduling, bill pay, doctor search, service search, and physician log-in was developed.
